Yolanda Akram is a Durban based human Rights Lawyer who does immigration and refugee law nationally and internationally. She is the Director of her law firm, Akram and Company Inc, where she has dedicated her firm to stand  besides those forced to flee and helps them find their voice in the law. Her work is rooted in compassion, her words shaped by the stories of exile and endurance.
